Weekly and bi-weekly prices are per visit and cover one yard area. One-time and spring clean-ups are flat-rate and priced separately — see below. Weekly and bi-weekly plans include a one-time first-clean setup charge of $10–$50 on your first bill, depending on waste build-up and grass length. Extra yard areas are $10 each. Large lots and commercial properties are quoted individually. HST extra.
One-Time vs. Spring Clean-Up
People mix these up all the time. They're two different jobs.
One-Time Clean-Up
A single visit to reset a yard that's a few weeks behind. No subscription, no commitment — book it, we scoop it, we're done.
- Best for: company coming over, a move-out, a listing photo, or you just got busy
- Book it in any month
- Final price depends on dog count, yard size, and how much has piled up
- 50% deposit at booking, balance charged once we're finished
Spring Clean-Up
The big one. A full winter's worth of waste comes out from under the melting snow all at once — it's a much heavier job than a regular catch-up, which is why it's priced separately.
- Best for: the first thaw, before the yard is usable again
- Months of accumulation, matted grass, hidden waste
- Takes considerably longer than a standard one-time clean
- 50% deposit secures your place on the spring list
Both are flat-rate, quoted on your yard. Neither one requires a subscription — though most spring clients roll straight into weekly service afterward.
Add-ons & extras
Bolt any of these onto a plan, or book them on their own.
Extra yard area
+$10Your plan covers one area. Want the front yard or a side run scooped too? Add it on.
First-clean setup
$10–$50 onceA one-time charge on your first weekly or bi-weekly bill. It gets you into the system and onto a route, and it covers the extra time that first visit takes. Where you land in that range depends on how much waste has built up and how long the grass is — a tidy yard sits at the low end; a yard that hasn't been touched in months sits higher. We'll tell you the number before we scoop.
Odour removal
SeasonalNon-toxic, Canadian-made "EZ Clean" yard deodorizing. Available May 1 – October 31.
Lawn mowing
PopularWe're the only ones who'll scoop your poop and cut your grass on the same visit. Fewer trucks in your driveway, one bill. See lawn care →
Leaf clean-up
FallBeat "poop camouflage season." Leaves get bagged in yard-waste bags and left on your property — we don't haul away.
Snow removal
Orleans onlyKeep the gate and walkway clear so scooping never skips a week. Currently available in Orleans only. See snow removal →
Exactly what you get
Included in every visit
- Full scoop of your service area — grass, flower beds, mulch, rock, all of it
- Waste double-bagged and placed in your bin, or neatly beside the garage
- A text 5–30 minutes before we arrive
- A photo of the waste location and the closed gate, sent to your phone
- Equipment disinfected with kennel-grade "Prevail" after every single yard
- Fully insured crew
Straight talk
- We do not haul the waste away. It goes in your trash can — that's what keeps the rate low.
- We can't give you an arrival time window. Routes run roughly 7am to dark and change for efficiency.
- We only pick up what we can see. Long grass and deep leaves hide a lot.
- Dogs need to be indoors on service day. We'll text so you can bring them in.
- Gates must be unlocked and clear of snow and ice.
How billing works

50% deposit covers your first 2 weeks. On week 4 we charge the remainder to your card on file. After that it's simply per visit — charged once each week's scoop is done.
Bi-Weekly
50% deposit covers your first visit. On the return visit two weeks later we charge the remainder. After that it's per visit, charged once we've finished.
One-Time & Spring
50% deposit secures your spot on the list. The balance is charged to the card on file once the clean-up is complete.
No contracts. Start, pause, or cancel any time by emailing info@scoopdog.ca or calling 613-400-4040.

Everything people ask us before they book. Still stuck? Call 613-400-4040.
Pricing & Billing
Is there an extra charge for the first clean?
Yes. Weekly and bi-weekly clients pay a one-time setup charge of $10–$50 on their first bill. It gets you into the system and onto a route, and covers the extra time that first visit takes.
Where you land in that range depends on how much waste has accumulated and how long the grass is. A yard that's been kept up sits at the low end. A yard that hasn't been touched in months sits higher. We'll tell you the number before we scoop — no surprises on the bill.
Signing up during Spring Rush (March–April)? Your initial charge may be higher.
How does billing work?
Weekly — A 50% deposit covers your first 2 weeks. On week 4 we charge the remainder to the card on file. After that it's simply per visit, charged once each week's scoop is done.
Bi-Weekly — A 50% deposit covers your first visit. When we return two weeks later we charge the remainder. After that it's per visit, charged once we've finished.
One-Time & Spring Clean-Ups — A 50% deposit secures your spot on the list. The balance is charged to the card on file once the clean-up is complete.
What's the difference between a one-time clean and a spring clean-up?
They're two different jobs, which is why they're priced separately.
A one-time clean-up (from $100) is a single catch-up visit you can book in any month — company's coming, you're moving out, or the yard just got away from you for a few weeks.
A spring clean-up (from $160) is the big one. A full winter's worth of waste comes out from under the melting snow all at once, on top of matted grass and hidden build-up. It takes considerably longer, so it costs more.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No contracts. You can start, pause, and cancel your subscription at any time by emailing info@scoopdog.ca or calling 613-400-4040.
Does Scoop Dog clean the entire yard?
We'll clean any area of your property that has a dog waste issue — grass, flower beds, rocks, mulch, all of it.
Please note that only one area is included in the price. If you'd like an additional area scooped, such as the front yard, that's an additional $10.
Scheduling & Service
What time will you be at my home?
We aren't able to give a time window on your scoop day. We have a lot of yards to clean, and our routes are constantly re-optimized for efficiency — which is a big part of what keeps our rates low for you. Routes run from around 7am until dark.
You'll always get a text when we're on the way, usually 5–30 minutes' notice. Your scoop day will be the same day each week, and if it ever has to change we'll tell you in advance.
Do I have to be home when you clean?
No. We simply ask for easy access to your gate.
Once the clean-up is done, we text a photo of the waste location and the closed gate to your phone, so you have a record of every visit.
How do you dispose of the dog waste?
We do not haul away.
We bag the waste and place it in your trash can, or neatly outside your garage. Keeping the waste on-site is a big part of what keeps the rate where it is.
Do you provide service all year round?
Yes. Scoop Dog runs year-round in every area we serve. Even in winter, we still show up — most of the waste that accumulates on snow is still scoopable.
Can you clean with my dog in the yard?
We love dogs, and most of the time we all get along fine. But sometimes a dog won't let the tech into the yard, or a dog is doing its job protecting the property and its owners. We respect that we're the ones stepping into their world.
Two things make it easier: you'll know which day of the week we're coming, so you can leave your dog inside; and we text when we're on the way, giving you a few minutes to secure them. We don't take unnecessary risks with your dog or our people.
Do you disinfect your equipment?
Yes. We disinfect our equipment after every single clean-up using "Prevail", an organic, kennel-grade disinfectant, to prevent the spread of germs between yards.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry insurance, so both you and our staff are protected.
What is my responsibility as a client?
- Keep the yard accessible. We'd rather not walk through your house if we don't have to.
- Keep the lawn cut. Autumn in this industry is known as "poop camouflage season" — we can only pick up what we can see. We offer lawn mowing and leaf clean-up if you'd like us to handle it.
- Gates unlocked, clear of snow and ice when we arrive. If you give us a gate code, we'll always lock up when we're done.
- Dogs indoors on service days. We'll text when we're on the way so you can bring them in.
- Let us know if you need to skip. Just reply to the reminder text you get 24 hours before.
Other Services
